POLICIES

We hope that you find our policies easy to understand, and easy to agree with. It is our aim to provide every guest with the best possible opportunity to relax and enjoy their visit to REPA Guest House.

1. CANCELLATION - We hope that you will not find it necessary to cancel your visit to REPA Guest House. However, if you must, we require to be notified as soon as possible. All reservations are guaranteed with a deposit for the first night (see rates). Deposits will be refunded if notification of cancellation is made 5 days or more prior to check-in date. Less than 5 - days notice results in forfeit of deposit. Arrival after the specified date, or departures before final date will also result in deposit forfeiture.
Note: Holiday and Special Event weekends, as well as whole house rentals, will require a 50% non-refundable deposit!

2. CANCELLATION BY CORPORATES - We hope that you will not find it necessary to cancel or alter your bookings to REPA Guest House. However, if you must, we require to be notified as soon as possible. Once a company, government department or travel agent accept a quote and produces a letter confirming reservation, an order number and/or a booking voucher then reservation is secured. In the event of a cancellation, then this must be done in writing and the following will apply;- if written cancellation notification is received more then 5 working days prior to check-in, then no penalty will be applied. But if cancellation is 5 days or less then the full accommodation for the booked period will have to be paid.

3. CHECK-IN - Normal check-in time at REPA Guest House is from 2:00 P.M. When you make your reservation, we ask you whether you plan on arriving in the afternoon or the evening, and approximately what time. This insures that someone will be here to greet you when you arrive. If your plans change, and you will not be able to arrive when planned, we ask that you advise us as soon as possible. Also, if you require a later check-in, we will be happy to accommodate your special needs. Earlier check-in is generally not possible.

4. CHECK-OUT - Normal check-out time at REPA Guest House is 11:00 A.M. Later check-out is generally not possible, as we require the time to complete preparations for our next guests.

5. SMOKING - For your comfort and safety, REPA Guest House is a Smoke-Free Environment. We do, however, have two spots where ashtrays are available for smokers to satisfy their needs outside. We strictly enforce this policy. Anyone who smokes while in REPA Guest House building will be required to pay an additional assessment which is equal to the cost of hiring professional cleaning and fumigating personnel to bring the facility back to its smoke free condition – This is normally R450.

6. PETS - We love pets here at REPA Guest House. When you see the houses, you will agree that it "cries out" for a cat to enjoy the many comforts in the house. However, many persons are allergic to animals, and so we have made REPA Guest House a Pet Free Environment. Guest pets are not allowed, and we have no pets of our own. No pets are allowed in any areas which guests use.
